Congrats to the Kingz Pans Champs

Another IBJJF Pan Jiu-Jitsu Championships in the books... and the Kingz athletes did not disappoint!

Pans has always been a peek into what we can expect at the upcoming World Championships. And if this Pans is any gauge, it will be epic. This year, we saw returning champions add another title to their resume, as well as dark horses putting their names on everyone's lips with epic battles and emotional upsets. 

We are always very proud of every one of our sponsored athletes who go out there and represent us at the world's biggest events. And when they bring home that gold, it's even better. Here's the shortlist of Kingz athletes who brought it home:

Fellipe Andrew

Alliance superstar Fellipe Andrew dominated the Adult Black Belt Heavyweight division, racking up his 5th Pan title!

Mica Galvao

Despite incurring an injury on the first day, Mica Galvao rallied on the second day to secure the gold in the Adult Black Belt Middleweight division. His eye is on that Grand Slam this year!

Gabi Pessanha

The Double-Gold queen has done it again, winning both the Adult Black Belt Super-Heavy weight division and the Open weight division, making this her 7th Pan championship!

Sergio Rios

There's no stopping Sergio Rios, who dominated in a stacked Master 1 Black Belt Medium-Heavy weight division, submitting three of his opponents for the gold medal win! 

Sarah Galvao

Sarah Galvao continues to dominate her first year in the Adult Purple Belt division, mirroring her blue belt year with another double gold win in the Light weight and Open weight divisions at Pans! 

Ash and Mia Funegra

Mia and Ashlee Funegra close out another Adult Purple Belt Light-Feather division at Pans! Their first year in the adult division and they're bringing the heat. 

Mateo Cardona

Mateo Cardona dominated the Adult Purple Belt Middle weight division, his dynamic and exciting performances giving him a well-earned gold medal! 

Fernando Paiva

Just barely missing gold in the Juvenile 1 Blue Belt Light weight division, Fernando Paiva rallied in the Open weight and secured the gold medal win!

Felipe Goulart

 Another double gold medal win for Felipe Goulart in the Juvenile 2 Blue Belt division? You bet! He's looking for that Grand Slam!

Kalebe Pereira

Welcome to the team Kalebe! Our newest addition to the lineup, Kalebe didn't disappoint, battling his way through the Juvenile 1 Blue Belt Medium-Heavy division for the gold!
